The Board of Education requires that part-time professional staff members be prorated so that they are compensated in an amount equivalent to the portion of time worked, whether it be a fraction of a day or a fraction of a year. The amount compensated shall be solely at the discretion of the Board acting upon the recommendation of the Superintendent.
