5773 - DISRUPTIVE ITEMS

The Board of Education recognizes that certain personal items may become disruptive on school property, at school functions, and/or on vehicles of transportation to and from school activities. Personnel in charge of an activity will use their discretion as to whether material is disruptive. These items may include, but are not limited to: radios, tape recorders, CD players, beepers, cellular phones, laser pointers, mag lites, or any other devices that are disruptive.

If confiscated, items may be returned only to parents upon their request. Repeat offenders will be subject to disciplinary action.
