The Board of Education authorizes the establishment of a Cadet Teaching Program for the purpose of providing an opportunity for high school students to obtain an initial first-hand experience with the teaching profession. In so doing, the Board hopes that participating students will be better informed in making a decision about teaching as a possible career choice.

The Superintendent shall prepare administrative guidelines which will ensure proper planning, implementation, and evaluation of this program. Such guidelines should also ensure that students are properly supervised and do not suffer academically as a consequence of participating.
