7460 - CONSERVATION OF NATURAL AND MATERIAL RESOURCES
The Board of Education recognizes that the increasing costs of natural energy resources coupled with the need to inhibit pollution mandate implementation of District strategies to conserve all forms of energy used and ensure proper recycling of re-useable materials.
The Superintendent shall develop and implement both immediate and long range plans to meet these concerns, and establish administrative guidelines for the enforcement of their provisions. Such plans shall include the concepts of energy conservation and recycling in the educational program of the District and in staff interactions with students.
