In order to protect students and staff from a noxious environment, and because the Board cannot condone the use of tobacco in any form, the Board prohibits the use and/or possession of tobacco in any form including cigar, cigarette, pipe tobacco, chewing tobacco, snuff, or any other matter or substance that contains tobacco, by students in school buildings, on school grounds, on school vehicles and/or at school related events.

The administration of each school building shall take appropriate action in cases involving students who use tobacco in violation of this policy.
