It is the purpose of this policy to allow for an alternative to out-of-school suspension. The availability of this option is dependent upon the financial ability of the Board of Education to support it.

The Superintendent shall prepare appropriate administrative guidelines which include the provision that in-school restriction shall be offered at the discretion of the principal or designee for offenses found in the Student Code of Conduct.
