The School District believes that dress and appearance are primarily the responsibility of the student and his/her parents.

A student and his/her clothing must be neat and clean and not constitute a threat to health or safety, disrupt the educational process, damage school properly or create an immoral or indecent (public) display.

More specific standards may be established for students participating in extra-curricular activities or groups performing before the public.

As a last resort in questionable situations, after a consultation between the school and the parents, the final decision must be with the school.

The students in the School District have always demonstrated much pride in their appearance, and it is hoped this pride will continue.
