7250.01 - STUDENT MEMORIAL
The Board of Education desires to afford parents an opportunity to dedicate a memorial to their child who passes away while they are a student in the District. The Board recognizes that such an untimely death has a profound impact on students and the entire community.
The following conditions shall be followed for such memorials:
| A. | A student nominated for the memorial shall have been deceased for one (1) year. | |
| B. | The nomination request shall be approved by parents of the deceased student. | |
| C. | All requests will be accepted after being reviewed by an Ad Hoc Committee of the Board as meeting memorial criteria. | |
| D. | A donation is encouraged to support the memorial but no request will be turned away due to the lack of funds. |
