5451B - AWARDS
The athletic department will present awards for successful completion of an athletic season. The awards are as follows:
| A. | Varsity Awards | |
| First Award - Letter and insert for sport, (also numerals if not previously earned). Succeeding Awards - Insert for sport. | ||
| B. | Junior Varsity Awards | |
| First Award - Numerals. Succeeding Awards - Certificate. | ||
| C. | Freshman Awards | |
| Certificate. |
Criteria for obtaining an award in any sport shall be established by the coach and approved by the athletic director prior to the season and a copy shall be given to each participate at the start of practice. The outstanding male and female senior athlete of the year awards will be presented in the spring of each year.
