The Food and Nutrition Services Department will comply with the provisions set forth in Federal law regarding sale of competitive food and foods of minimal nutritional value.

Only the Food and Nutrition Services Department shall sell food and beverages in the school during regular school hours, with the exception of Board approved career and technical programs and curriculum.

The food and beverages to be sold must be in accordance with the District’s approved nutrition standards and the District’s wellness policy (Policy 8510) and guidelines AG 8500. Exceptions apply to Board approved CTE programs and curriculum.
