School personnel are encouraged to take an active part in community life. Membership in various civic organizations, churches, service clubs, cultural groups, charities, and the like can provide added satisfaction to the individual. The Board encourages school employees to live within the School District boundaries. This is not, however, a condition for employment and should not be inferred to be a compulsory regulation.
