2230 - CURRICULUM GUIDES
A guide may be prepared for each approved course of study or any other program in order to direct and assist the professional staff toward the attainment of goals sought by that course of study.
Each guide shall contain, as appropriate to the course of study:
| A. | learning activities needed to achieve the outcome, | |
| B. | appropriate materials and resources, | |
| C. | suggested methods of instruction, | |
| D. | evaluation criteria and methods which will confirm the extent to which learning outcomes have been achieved, and | |
| E. | a list of supplemental materials for the guidance of teachers. |
The Superintendent shall be responsible for the preparation of curriculum guides and shall develop a plan for such preparation which includes:
| A. | the participation of appropriate staff members and resource personnel, and | |
| B. | a systematic review of all curriculum guides to ensure their continuing usefulness in achieving goals set by the Board. |
Copies of all current curriculum guides shall be kept on file in the office of the Superintendent.
