The Board of Education regards the use of motor vehicles as a privilege not a right for travel to and from school by students as an assumption of responsibility on the part of those students - a responsibility in the care of property, in the observation of Federal, State and Local laws, safety rules, and in the display of courtesy and consideration toward others.

The Board will permit the use of motor vehicles by students, in accordance with the rules of this District, provided that such students are licensed drivers with a licensed motor vehicle.

The Board will not permit the use of minibikes for travel to and from school.

The Board will not be responsible for motor vehicles which are lost, stolen, or damaged.

No student who does not possess a valid motorcycle safety education certificate will be allowed to ride or park a motorcycle on school property.
