The Board of Education shall provide group insurance for the classified staff of this District eligible to participate in accordance with statute. Participation in this plan is optional.

The Board shall pay ninety percent (90%) of the premium cost for such insurance.

Classified staff who work thirty-five (35) hours per week or more. The Board shall pay fifty percent (50%) of the premium cost for classified staff who work more than 24.99 hours per week but less than thirty-five (35) hours per week. Insurance is available for those classified staff who work less than 24.99 hours per week, but the premium cost shall be borne wholly by the employee.
