It is the purpose of this policy to provide an alternative to out-of-school suspension. The availability of these options is dependent upon the financial ability of the Board of Education to support such programs.

In-school restriction/in-school suspension will only be offered for offenses found in the Student Code of Conduct.

The Superintendent is to establish administrative guidelines for the proper operation of such programs and to ensure that appropriate due-process procedures are followed as applicable.
