7510.01 - USE OF SCHOOL FACILITIES GROUPS
Priority of Use
The schools are established for the primary purpose of facilitating the instructional programs of the District for students. The following shall set forth the priority of use and applicable charges. Group 1 has the highest or greatest priority for building use scheduling and Group 4 the least.
Payment Exempt Users
Group 1 - School-Affiliated Organizations
Programs offered by the School District. The following individuals or groups may use the school facilities with approval, and are exempt from payment of the rental and equipment fees. Users are responsible for personnel fees for after hours, weekend or holiday use. Qualifying groups encompass members of our student body and staff, sponsors, classes, athletics, teachers, clubs, etc., including the following:

Group 2 - Parent/Student-Affiliated Organizations
These are organizations affiliated with the schools of the District.
The following individuals or groups within the School District may use the school facilities with approval, and are exempt from payment of the rental and equipment fees. Users are responsible for personnel fees for after hours, weekend or holiday use. Qualifying groups include the following:

Groups 2A Charitable/Governmental Organizations
Organizations should apply to the Director of Finance. The application should be made by letter and include the dates and hours requested, the facilities and equipment needed, a description and purpose of the event and the expected number of attendees. The exemption applies to the rental fees only. Any associated personnel charges and equipment fees must be paid by the organization. The District considers rental fee exemption agreements each year. In the case of charitable organizations, a 501c3 IRS letter must be submitted with application. Users are responsible for personnel fees for after hours, weekend or holiday use.
Discounted Organizations
Group 3 - Community Organizations
These include community organizations or community groups and other non-profit and/or public users. To be considered a community organization at least sixty percent (60%) of the members/participants of the organization shall be residents of the School District. The School District may require a membership list of names, addresses and phone numbers of all members/participants as verification. Group 3 organizations are eligible for a sixty-six percent (66%) discount rate (applicable to Schedule A only-room fees). This discount does not apply to any personnel or equipment rental fees. Users are responsible for personnel fees for after hours, weekend or holiday use. Qualifying groups include the following:

*Community Softball/Baseball Little League groups requesting to rent outdoor facilities and fields will be billed a $5.00 per participant fee per season and are not subject to the facility rental fees. A roster of member names and addresses must be provided for billing purposes.
General Users
Group 4 General Users
Individuals and/or groups are required to pay fees at the stated rates, unless a signed alternative agreement is on file with the School District. These include all other organizations or groups not listed above, except those for profit. However, a group or organization under this category may conduct training or meeting sessions for employees related to their business, but may not actually generate revenue or profit from the activity. A fee for use is charged as set forth in Schedule A. Users are responsible for personnel fees for after hours, weekend or holiday use.
Chippewa Valley (Henrichsen) and Dakota Auditoriums may be used by profit organizations to generate revenue or profit.
