2431.02 - COMPLAINT PROCESS – ALL SPORTS

 

A.

Complaints by a student, parent, or community member shall first be directed, in a respectful manner, to the coach at a time other than during, before, or after a game.

   
 

B.

The coach will respond within twenty-four (24) hours in a respectful manner.

   
 

C.

If the issue cannot be solved at this point, the concern shall be handled as referred to existing Policy 9130, principal level.

   
 

D.

Unsigned letters or complaints regarding any employee or player will be discarded unread.

Behavior at Events

Disrespectful, unsportsmanlike, or angry displays by players, coaches or the public are not acceptable and may result in district action to prevent future similar incidents.
