The Board of Education believes that interscholastic sports are an integral part of the school program. Sports are tools by which school becomes relevant to many students either through direct participation or school identification.

The Board wishes to recognize the achievements of students who give many hours of their time to represent the school in interscholastic athletics. Awards will be given as described in the Athletic Council Handbook.
