The Board will provide reimbursement to all employees not currently covered by college credit reimbursement for the completion of college coursework. Employees can qualify for only one reimbursement group.
| | A. | Courses must be taken after September 1st and completed by August 31st the following year. The payment will be $160 and $100 per semester hour for graduate and undergraduate courses respectively or $110 and $70 per quarter hour for undergraduate courses respectively, to a maximum six (6) semester hours of credit. |

| | B. | The following conditions must be met for such payment to be made after Superintendent approval: |

| | | 1. | The Superintendent shall have granted prior approval for any course contemplated based upon the following criteria: |
|
| | | | a. | The Superintendent shall determine if course is appropriate by information provided on the completed application form. |
|
| | | | b. | The Superintendent will return a copy of the application to the employee including whether the course(s) is/are acceptable for reimbursement. |
|
| | | | c. | The employee is eligible for reimbursement after approval except when course work is paid for or provided by a sponsor. |
|
| | | 2. | A transcript or grade slip for the course(s) taken noting the receipt of an A, B, or C must be submitted to the Superintendent along with a requisition requesting payment to qualify for reimbursement. |
|
- The employee must agree to remain in active service with Centerburg School for the fiscal year following the completion of the course(s) or that employee shall refund the reimbursement to the Board. Money left in the fund will not be carried over to the next fiscal year.
