Administrative Guidelines
 

1100 - SUPERINTENDENT'S/PRINCIPAL'S ABSENCE FROM THE DISTRICT

Whenever the Superintendent is away from the District and unavailable to make a decision, and, if not otherwise specified in policy or administrative guidelines, the Assistant Superintendent shall be responsible for determining whether or not a decision must be made prior to the Superintendent's return. If so, then s/he shall:

 A.make the decision;

 B.take and/or supervise appropriate action;

 C.inform the Superintendent upon his/her return.

Should the Assistant Superintendent also be unavailable, then each administrator shall assume such responsibility in the order in which his/her name appears on the following list:

Director of Business and Finance

 
   

Human Resources Specialist

 
   

Middle School Prncipal

 

Whenever a principal is to be absent from his/her building and unavailable to make a decision, s/he is to select one (1) or more appropriate members of the school staff to act on his/her behalf and to provide the names of the selected staff member(s) to the District office.
