For support personnel not covered by master agreements the Board of Education has the responsibility to determine whether to grant a leave of absence of up to one (1) year's time. Any request for a extension shall be submitted to the Board.

Any employee granted a leave of absence shall be considered to have terminated all work with the District until completion of the leave. Exceptions may be made by the Superintendent/designee in cases where the best interests of the District might be served.
