8550 - COMPETITIVE FOOD SALES
The Food Services Department will comply with the provisions set forth in Federal law regarding sale of competitive foods and foods of minimum nutritional value
.The Food Service Department shall be the sole provider of food and beverage items sold in all schools until 30 minutes following the last lunch period, at which time other organizations may begin to sell foods and beverage items in accordance with the District’s approved nutrition standards and the District’s wellness policy (Policy 8510), guidelines (AG 8500).
