6490 - MATCHING FUNDS
The Board of Education encourages contributions from the PTA for special needs of the schools.
The Board shall provide matching funds for such contributions. Matching funds shall not exceed $1.00 per child, based on the October 1st enrollment for the current school year. These funds may be used for the purchase of school supplies or equipment under the following conditions:
| A. | All requests must have the approval of the Board. | |
| B. | The total amount matched for any single project shall not exceed 50% of the cost of said project. | |
| C. | The request for matching funds must have the written approval of the building principal and Superintendent of Schools. | |
| D. | All requests must be submitted in writing to the Superintendent or his/her designee. | |
| E. | The Treasurer shall keep a record of the objects to be purchased, and the amount of matching funds requested and approved for each school. |
