The Board will ensure all full-time classified employees against loss of pay occasioned by a call of subpoena.

A classified employee who is absent in response to a subpoena in a case in court shall have deducted from his/her salary the amount of any witness fee or other compensation, exclusive of any reimbursement paid specifically for expenses incurred by reason of such subpoena. A certificate signed by the classified employee and stating the amount of such fee or other compensation, if any, must be submitted by the classified employee to the Treasurer.
