The Board of Education recognizes that it is vital to the success of the summer school program that those positions created by the Board be filled with highly qualified and competent personnel.

Summer school teachers shall be properly certified in the subject or grade to be taught and shall be appointed in the same manner as regular day school teachers.

The Superintendent shall set up procedures for the employment of summer school teachers with preference given to teachers in the School District.
