Since learning can occur beyond the formal classroom, it is our intention to provide our students the opportunities to benefit from various educational options. These shall include a variety of independent and individualized study and work experiences.

School approved educational options require parental consent for participation. It is understood that this program will be available to all students.

Prior approval must be secured from the principal or his/her designee for each educational option. The principal will require evidence that the parent has approved participation and that a written instructional plan has been submitted prior to participation. At the high school level a maximum of six (6) units of credit may be applied toward graduation with no more than four (4) of the six (6) applied toward specifically required courses.
