2451 - ALTERNATIVE HIGH SCHOOL
The Board of Education recognizes that the regular high school program may not be appropriate for all students. There are those who need an education but are unable or unwilling to participate properly in the District's established program.
The Board may provide an alternative high school education program for students who, in the opinion of the Superintendent, will benefit from this program.
Young people, between the ages of 15 years and 19 and not currently enrolled in the District, may attend. Younger students may petition to attend through the Office of Instruction.
