The School Board recognizes its responsibility to procure the services of substitute support staff in order to prevent the interruption of the operation of the schools.

The names of potential substitute staff and the positions in which they may substitute shall be maintained.

Substitute personnel are defined as persons employed to perform the duties of a regular employee during the absence of the regular employee.

Temporary personnel are defined as persons employed to provide a special service for a specified period of time or to supplement the work force of the Corporation for a specified period of time due to special or unusual needs.
