1220.01 - EMPLOYMENT OF LOCAL DISTRICT ADMINISTRATORS
The Superintendent by law shall recommend for employment or reemployment all persons for the position of a local District administrator in this Educational Service Center.
The Superintendent and/or the District shall actively seek the best qualified and most capable candidate for the position of local District administrator. Recruitment procedures shall be prepared in advance of the search and may include the following:
| A. | the preparation of a written job specification for the position | |
| B. | the preparation of informative material describing the school district and its educational goals | |
| C. | the consideration of all applicants fairly without discrimination on the basis of race, gender, age, religion, ethnic background, disability, or other condition unrelated to the position | |
| D. | where feasible, the opportunity for applicants to visit the school(s) of the district |
The local Board shall make its selection subject to the approval of the Center Superintendent. (See AG 1220.01)
