4433 - VACATION

The Board of Education believes that it is beneficial to the District that classified staff members employed to work twelve (12) months per year be given periodic relief from the responsibilities of their job without loss of compensation.

The Board reserves the right to specify the conditions when not otherwise covered by the terms of a negotiated agreement under which vacation time may be taken.

All twelve (12) month employees shall receive the following vacation pay:

 A.after the completion of one (1) year - two (2) weeks

 B.after the completion of ten (10) years - three (3) weeks

 C.after the completion of fifteen (15) years - four (4) weeks

When the employee has reached nineteen (19) years of continuous service, the employee shall receive one (1) additional day of vacation each year beyond the nineteenth year to a maximum of five (5) weeks.
