There shall be a maximum of two (2) restricted obligation days per year for each professional staff member for the observance of a religious holiday requiring total abstinence from work. Application for such days must be made to the Superintendent at least four (4) days in advance. The Superintendent shall respond within three (3) days leaving time for the staff member to make other arrangements.
