4130.02 - TEMPORARY DUTY ELSEWHERE
A support staff member may be assigned to be temporarily away from his/her regular duties and place of employment for the purpose of performing other educational services, including participation in surveys, professional meetings, study courses, workshops, and similar services of direct benefit to the District. Such assignment may be initiated by the Superintendent or may be requested by the individual who desires the temporary assignment as days of duty.
Temporary duty shall receive approval as set forth in Policy 4430.02, Approval of Leaves.
Support staff who are members of a bargaining unit should refer to the negotiated agreement.
