The purpose of homework includes improvement of the learning process, aid in skills mastery, and stimulation of student interest.

To achieve these purposes, homework shall be assigned in all academic courses as appropriate. Homework assignments shall be of reasonable length with clear directions. Homework is not to be used as punishment.
