Students who have completed the prescribed Board requirements for graduation and have met obligations listed below shall be eligible to participate in commencement exercises.

Students eligible for graduation shall be assessed for proper and reasonable expenses related to commencement activities.

Eligible students wishing to participate in commencement exercises shall be required to attend rehearsals for that ceremony and shall be notified that this is a requirement and a mandate.

Commencement exercises shall take place in an Akron Public School facility or in another public building within the city limits.
