4430.02 - CONTINUATION OF HEALTH INSURANCE BENEFITS WHILE ON LEAVE OF ABSENCE
An employee who is granted a leave of absence by the Board of School Trustees may continue his/her membership in the group health, hospitalization and major medical program of the Corporation during the period of time during which the employee is on leave of absence.
Any premium for this insurance benefit during the leave of absence will be paid entirely by the employee in accordance with the directions of the Superintendent at such intervals as s/he directs. Failure to pay premiums in such manner and at such times as the Superintendent directs may result in the cancellation of the employee's insurance benefits.
