5460.01 - GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS FOR TRANSFER STUDENTS

A student transferring into the District from another school system shall be permitted to graduate on schedule with fewer than the prescribed number of credits provided the students meet following conditions:

 A.Have successfully completed the normal requirements of the school or schools from which s/he transferred during each year of high school attendance as shown on the school’s official transcript;

 B.Have taken and successfully completed a full schedule of courses during each year of attendance in a District high school;

 C.Have taken and successfully completed a full schedule of courses, including as many required courses as possible, during the period of attendance at the graduating school; and

 D.Have demonstrated proficiency in Reading and Mathematics by either earning passing scores on the Grade 10/Retake FCAT Reading and Mathematics tests or through a standardized test score that is concordant with the passing score on the FCAT as set forth in state law.
