1120.01 - EMPLOYMENT OF INTERIM PRINCIPALS/SUPERVISORS

Interim principals may be appointed provided they have Educational Leadership, Administration, or Administration/Supervision Certification from another state and have at least two (2) consecutive years of successful administrative experience within the past five (5) years. An interim principal may also be an individual with Education Leadership, Administration, or Administration/Supervision Certification and through the District’s selection system was determined by the selection team, and recommendation by the Superintendent, to be the best candidate for the position among other applicants. Administrators who are appointed as interim principals have one (1) calendar year to successfully perform required competencies and duties.

Administrators who have been fingerprinted by the District and have not been unemployed by the District for more than twenty-four (24) hours shall not be required to be re-fingerprinted upon return to work in the District.
